Poor
old Amiable Abe is burdened with a gold mine of information concerning the
love lives of forlorn Salemites and can't say a word to anyone. Unable
to tell Hope that BozoCop is simply working undercover and pretending to love
Billieboob, he gives Hope something to pine over. Don't give up on Bozo,
he tells her meaningfully. I'm sure, soon, he'll turn to you again.
The
only mobster/drug lord ever known who takes an obsessive interest in the love
lives of his cronies and staff, continues to discuss BozoCop's women.
We'll see, he nods. If BozoCop is lying to us about Billieboob, they'll
both be seriously dead. 
While
Vivian and Kristen have been plotting outside, Ivan has taken the opportunity
to apply some brandy directly to the troublesome source. What hiccup! ooh, what did you say this hiccup!
stuff ish? asks giggling Susan. It is called brandy, Ivan replies
patiently. Oh that brandy is dandy! slurps Susan becoming a little more
compliant.
John's
still in a quandary. I never meant to hurt Doc, but I won't hurt Kristen
either. What should I do God?
BozoCop
meets under the cover of darkness with Amiable Abe, with Billieboob tagging
alongside. Well, it's like this, Bozo begins. Billieboob toppled
forward while listening at the keyhole of J.L.King's office where he was
intimidating me. Now she's involved, I had to make out like she was my
girlfriend so we wouldn't get killed. Can we get her into a witness
protection program or something? She's in danger.
The
longest prayer in history continues. Of course detailing the many loves
of John Black would indeed be a lengthy process. Fortunately while
daydreaming Marlena realises he's left for home.
May I
help you? Father Noname asks. Well Father, maybe you can, Marlena
brightens. I'm in love with a man, a wonderful man, who has been tricked
into marriage by a very manipulative woman. Is that grounds for an
annulment?
Anger
mixed with brandy is a bad combination for Susan who starts waving around a
pair of scissors. You let me see my baby! she commands.
Soothing
her, Kristen changes her attitude. Just calm down Susan, I'm sure we can
work something out don't you?
John's
mad. You've upset Kristen, you've made her feel insecure about her
relationship with me. I love Kristen, and she has nothing to worry
about. Now I think you'd better go.
Turning to Kristen, John
apologises. I'm sorry if I made you feel bad Kristen. I love you
and our son.
Bozo
and Billieboob are talking on the pier, when they hear a sound behind
them. That will be one of J.L.King's men spying on us, Bozo determines
quite wrongly. We need to act like we're in love.
Devastated
that Bozo has chosen Billieboob, Hope sits on the swings, remembering.....
The

As
Marlena opens the door, Kristen sees Vivian bundling Susan out the
