THIS WEEK'S EXPERIMENT: I'm trying something a little different this week.  Different page for each day.  Hopefully will slash downloading times.  We'll see how it goes.

Please note: Australian spelling applies in Days DownUnder. Therefore spelling of words such as realise (realize), colour (color), recognise (recognize), defence (defense) and so on,
are not typing or
spelling errors as we
adopt European/English spelling in Australia.

AUSTRALIAN READERS PLEASE NOTE: The wrap up you see now is CURRENT for MELBOURNE.  NSW is 3 days ahead of us, Perth in Western Australia is about 18 months behind, regional Western Australia is ahead by 2 days.  South Australia- previously behind, then 3 weeks ahead are now about 3 days ahead! (good grief) Other towns and regions are all over the place. This gives us a jolly old time - the wrap ups are either old news, last week's news or "Spoilers" depending where you are! Whatever your situation, please sit back and enjoy!

A Better Word and Resume

Week 4: Aug 21-Aug 25 - DAY 5

Episodes screened February 97 in the U.S.

Aug 25

Hope & FrUnco

Hope is talking with FrUnco over the state of her miserable love life. It appears Billieboob has won the prized heart of Bozo.  I need to accept that and get on with my life, she determines.  I agree, smirks FrUnco happy in his success.

Request

Taking Vivian aside, Kristen has some instructions. Make sure Susan gets on that plane to the Caribbean and beforehand, make sure she has a shot to stop her making milk for the baby.  The sooner that is cleared up - the better.  Outraged Vivian declines until Kristen points out Stefano's potential wrath.  Alright, snips Vivian.  I'll do what you ask.

Talking...

Their session coming to a close, Susan has revealed nothing to Marlena, yet the doctor's interest has been roused.  We'll make an appointment to discuss this more next time, Marlena smiles, but Susan declines.  Nobody really can help me with my problem, but thank you for caring, she says, as she walks to the door.

Face Off

Hope's on duty for her modelling assignment for Bella magazine, when Billieboob stops buy to coordinate the work.  Eyeing each other stiffly, Hope voices her disappointment over Bozo's decision, while Billieboob keeps her lips tightly shut.

It won't be long Hope, Billieboob thinks.  Bozo will be yours again.  Bozo just doesn't love me, if only I could tell you that.

Dr Wong...

It has been a long while since Vivian has visited Dr Wong for potions and poisons, and Dr Wong wishes it had been longer.  Why would you need to stop lactation? he asks curiously wishing immediately he hadn't.

Here, take the medicine, he sighs, as Vivian smiles triumphantly at Ivan.  Now we have the hard part - to convince Susan to take it, she sighs.

Silicon

It's the contest of the silicon as Billieboob and Hope face off. A hard fought contest, but we believe Billieboob to be the winner.

Caribbean stopover

Before her trip to the Caribbean, Susan makes one more visit to the hospital, standing behind John as he waves like a man possessed to Kristen just beyond the glass.

Turning as Kristen gestures angrily at her, Susan walks slowly to the elevator on her way back to the apartment.

She's surprised to see Vivian and Ivan inside already.

Here have this cup of tea and a pill, smiles Vivian kindly as Susan looks suspicious.  What's the pill for? she asks.  It's to stop you making milk Susan, smiles Vivian as Susan looks stricken.

Oh oh....

One of the friendly nurses seeks out Kristen.  I have a report from the surgeon that the baby is now well enough to be fed naturally.

Isn't that wonderful? explodes John in apparent ecstasy at the concept of Kristen breastfeeding.  As Kristen smiles and swallows nervously, Marlena offers unwanted advice.  Breast milk is an excellent way for the baby to recover from his surgery. It will be very good for him, she nods.

You can do it right now honey! grins John happily as Kristen looks at her toes and wonders how to wriggle out of this new predicament.
